Craziness, I tell ya!!! Hooking up for 5!

Sorry for my absence this week!  It has been one hellava week!!! But aren't they all anymore.  It's called life, and I love it!!!! Here is a bit of a re-cap of all the extras on top of normal stuff like household chores, cooking supper, trying to make sure the kids don't go to bed with too of dirty feet.

 Monday - Carter had ball practice, Tuesday - both kids had ball games, had to be there at 5:30 for pictures, Maddie's game started at 6, Carter's game started at 8. Didn't get home until around 9:30!!!  Wednesday, a special little gal's birthday party!  Thursday - a 5K Glow race in here in my town to kick off Relay for Life, Glowing for a Cure, (that will receive a separate post.....pretty awesome race).  Friday the 400 mile yard sale, runs right through the middle of our little awesome town, so trying to get treasures ready for that!!!!

Carter had 6 boys to spend the night for his Birthday!! Oh whatta night!!!!



Carter cleaned house at Basketball camp!!! 1st in Free Throws, 1st in One on One and 2nd in Hot Shot!!!!



My Daddy met Yogi in the woods!!!!!

The weekend is finally here!!! Just wished it was going to be warm like last weekend, Come on SPRING!! I am longing for your 60 degree days!! A few of my highlights of the week!

1. My Mom gets Carter chicks every spring and it is really cold here right now and they cannot survive in the garage even with a heat lamp. So Mom put them in a tote to keep in the utility room, but she walked into her den to find Carter with my old Fisher Price barn and fence "herding" the chicks!!


2. These came in the mail yesterday.. SCORE 2 free pair of panties!! I order under my name and Chris's to get double the coupons!!! Woot Woot

3. My Living is being painted and I am beyond excited. It was last painted in 2001...I think it is due a spruce up!!! Plus I love the smell of fresh paint, makes everything smell clean!  Plus it caused me to do some deep cleaning of baseboards, wash all trim in order to be painted and wash curtains!!! Orignal color Muffin Tan, new color Creme Liqueor, pictures next week after I get it all back together, with my camera instead of my phone!

4. This always makes for a good morning!

 1. New Mizuno Wave Precision 13s!!!! Can't wait to put some miles on these babies


2. Feeding Carter's calf this morning. It was 6:00am, I was still half way asleep, he sucked the top off, spilled milk, he was sucking the nipple like a passy, when I bent over to get it he head butted me!! It was a nice wake-up!!! But wouldn't change a thing!! 

3. This was from last week, but never did post on it....George Strait in concert!! He played for 2.5 hours!!!! Not usually a big country fan, but can't go wrong with George!

4.  Can't wait to get a mani this weekend!! Went last night and there was an hour wait! Hopefully at opening time in the morning Maddie and I can get in and out!

5. ITS FRIDAY AND IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE 70 DEGREES!!!!!!!

It's Friday Folks!

Thank Goodness it is Friday!!!!! I am excited about this weekend. Chris, Carter and I are heading to Louisville to the Monster Truck Show!!! GraveDigger is going to be there. Carter is so excited!! Sure to have pictures next week!!!

Now some of my highlights of the week!

1.




Jessica and I were guest dee jays for our local radio station.  We are on the
Board of Directors for our local Chamber of Commerce and this was
a day for recruiting new and past members to join the Chamber.  It was a fun
hour to be on the radio, we got to play "our music and talk our talk".  Needless
to say we don't need to quit our day jobs!!!

I may have ate 3 or maybe 6!!!!





On Sunday Chris, Carter, my Dad and I went target shooting.  Carter has a good
aim on him!! Me on the other hand, not so much. Lets just say that the raccoons and
squirrels don't need to live in fear because of me!



Finally got me a full length mirror!!!

Hello Friday!!!! For this to have been a short week it sure has been a long week!!!

2. Boys will be Boys...and I wouldn't have it any other way!!! Carter stomping in the mud, while the guys are trying to get a Buddy out of the mud!!

5. Carter in his Christmas present from Chris and I!!! To say he was excited is/was under statement!!!! Totally suprised!

What a great week it has been and going to be a great weekend!!!! Friday night is my annual GirlFriend Christmas Party at my house where we play Dirty Santa, eat good finger foods and maybe sip some wine and Saturday is Maddie's 5th Birthday Tea party!!!!! Pictures for sure next week!

4. Maddie's Dance Class danced at a high school ball game this week! It was Christmas themed and her group danced to Frosty the Snowman!

Can I get an AMEN for Friday!!!!! And a 3 day weekend for me, I am off Monday for Veteran's Day!!! But in all seriousness, Thank a Veteran for their sacrifices that lets  you sit behind that computer and read this blog and all of the other blogs!!

1. I COMPLETED MY VERY FIRST HALF MARATHON!!!! 13.1 MILES BABY, AND I GOT MY STICKER ON MY CAR TO PROVE IT!!!!!!

2.  Off work Monday, and what does that mean, Christmas shopping with my 2 co-workers, Ashlee and Erica!!!! We may not return!!!! Veteran's Day Sales!!!

3.  Ruby all cleaned and groomed!!! A day at the spa just wears her out!

5.  My favorite TV show of all time is killing me!!! I am so ready for next Tuesday it is a 90 minute episode!!! I so hope that Clay gets cut loose from the gang!!!!
