Whatta a Weekend!!!

This weekend was a great one!!!! We went to Brimstone Recreation Area which is located in Huntsville, TN, (just across the KY/TN line).  Every Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend they have a big event called White Knuckle Event where side by sides, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers ride.  This year there was over 10,000 people there! Largest crowd ever!  On Friday night, it was just a little chilly!! We woke up on Saturday morning to temps in the mid 30s!!! On Saturday night wasn't too bad, however we slept in the truck HAHA!! I was thinking at first what have I done, recommending to do this since we could not stretch out our legs, but around 3am, it began to rain, so I was so glad that we did.  The tent life isn't much for me, however I can do it for a couple of nights, but not in 30 degree temps!

It is a laughing joke now that I take a Dora lunchbox with me on the rides. The first
time I went, I was needing something to put snacks, phone, camera, you know
essentials in and so I grabbed Dora and now all the girls are like did you bring Dora!!!

On Monday I grilled some Ribeyes, cabbage, potatoes and a sweet onion. OMG, it was so good! I will have to run about 10 miles to account for all the calories I consumed this weekend!!! We got the pool open and the kids took a little dip this weekend, but didn't stay to long, the water is still very chilly, about 72 degrees! Hopefully by this weekend it will be warmer and they can play in it longer.

Slingin' Mud

One of my favorite past times is riding our Ranger, whether it be just us, or a large group or just 2 or 3 other side by sides, I love it!!! A couple of weeks ago several of our friends headed south to Monticello, KY to do a little riding!!! It was a beautiful day, around 75 degrees.  It was a perfect day to get 'Our Mud On"!!!!!!

Good Morning!

Happy Monday to you!!!! Here in the Bluegrass state it is raining cats and dogs! Today would  have been an awesome day to been able to laid in bed all day; it is raining, occasional rumble of thunder and very dark outside!  But laying in bed doesn't pay the bills!
The weekend was a good one!  Saturday finished up Carter's Little League games.  His team lost the first game so they were elimated from the tournament, but they played an awesome game.  Came back from a 7 point deficit (huge number in Little League). Got within 2 points but couldn't get the balls to drop.  We lost 18-20.  However I am super proud of Carter he scored 9 points!!! A friend was there taking some really good pictures and she said she would send me some, so I will share when she shares! :)

After the game we came home and rode Carter's RZR!!! We had so much fun.  It was 74 degrees...PERFECT!!!! Then Sunday was cold and gloomy..BOO!! Come back sunshine, you teased me!!!

Weekend Post!!!!

We had a great weekend!!!! Friday night consisted of getting our taxes prepared, which I was very pleased with, now just ready for the refund. However they can't be actually filed until the middle of February and we won't received the refund until the middle to the end of March.  Uncle Sam wants his money pronto, but takes his own precious time when it comes to giving us our money!!! But I am not complaining at least we aren't having to pay in!

Saturday Carter had a ball game and his team won!!!! 10-2, he scored 6 points!! I am so proud of him!

After the ball game we went riding!! It was such a perfect day! We rode at Jessica and JT's house and it is so pretty due to most of their land is on the Green River, here is a little recap of our day!!! If you follow me on IG you probably have already seen some of these!

After riding we went home and Kruz stayed the night with us!! Carter was thrilled for him to stay as I was too, he was so good and they had a big time playing!!!
